2024 IndyCar Schedule Announced

2024 Set to be Final Season with 2.2-Liter V6

The 2024 IndyCar Series schedule was released on September 25, 2023, with the Indianapolis 500 scheduled for its traditional Memorial Day weekend slot. The 2023 season will be the final season for the current 2.2-liter V6 twin-turbocharged engine, as the series is set to switch to a new engine formula in 2024.

The 2024 schedule features 17 races, with one new addition and one departure from the 2023 calendar. The new race will be held on the streets of Music City, Tennessee, while the race at Portland International Raceway will not be held in 2024.
