The Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA) Philadelphia Chapter is proud to announce its 13th Annual Al Holm Lecture.

Exploring the enduring legacy of classical architecture

The lecture, titled "The Enduring Legacy of Classical Architecture," will be delivered by Dr. Thomas Gordon Smith, a renowned architectural historian. Dr. Smith will discuss the origins, development, and impact of classical architecture, from its ancient Greek and Roman roots to its influence on modern architecture. This captivating talk will explore the enduring principles and enduring beauty of classical architecture, and its relevance in today's world.

The lecture will be held on Thursday, June 15th, 2023 at the University of Pennsylvania's Furness Building. Doors open at 6:00pm and the lecture begins at 6:30pm. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested.
